Terms of Use

1. Who can use SlayCam

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. AI presets and AI video are available only to users aged 18 or older. You may not use the Service where the law prohibits it, including under applicable sanctions laws.

2. Your account

You can use many features as a guest. Subscribing, buying Slaycoins, generating AI presets and saving to your account require signing in with Apple, Google or email. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Account → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes any remaining Slaycoins and cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play settings first, or it will keep renewing.

3. Your photos and results

You own what you upload and what you create. "Your Content" means the photos you select or take in the app. "Results" means the edited images and videos the Service produces from them. As between you and us, you keep all rights in Your Content, and to the extent we have any rights in Results, we assign them to you.

You give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, modify and transmit Your Content and Results only to provide the Service to you, including sending them to the processing providers listed in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when Your Content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We will never use Your Content or Results to train AI models, and we will not use them in our marketing unless you separately and expressly opt in.

Commercial use: SlayCam Pro subscribers may use Results commercially. Results made on the free tier are for personal, non-commercial use only.

SlayCam is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything important to you.

4. Photos of other people

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission to edit their photo with AI. Do not upload photos of anyone under 18 into AI presets or AI video, even with their parent's consent. You are responsible for having every right and permission needed for what you upload.

5. Acceptable use policy

You must not use the Service to:

• create nude, sexual or sexually suggestive images of any person, or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors;
• create images intended to deceive people about a real person, including impersonation, fake endorsements or fake evidence;
• harass, bully, shame or threaten anyone, including by altering someone's photo without their consent;
• create hateful, violent or illegal content, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights;
• remove, crop or hide watermarks, or get around screenshot protection, usage limits, ad requirements or payment;
• copy, reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service, or access it with bots or other automated tools;
• resell, share or transfer your subscription, account or Slaycoins.

We use automated safety filters and may block a request, remove a Result, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. We do not charge Slaycoins for blocked requests. Report misuse to contact@linkova.net.

6. About AI results

AI results are generated automatically. They may be inaccurate, may not look exactly like you, and can occasionally be unexpected. You decide whether to save or share a Result. When you share a Result publicly, do not present an AI-altered image of a real person as an unedited photo where that could mislead others. We may add a visible watermark and invisible "AI-generated" labels (such as metadata or content credentials) to Results. Some features may be labeled beta; they may change or be removed and may be less reliable.

7. Subscriptions (SlayCam Pro)

SlayCam Pro is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the store's terms govern payment. Current plans (US prices; other regions may differ):

• Pro Weekly: $6.99 for the first week, then $8.99 every week until you cancel.
• Pro Yearly: $39.99 every year until you cancel, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Your store account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Pro until then. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged. We send a reminder before each renewal and before a free trial converts. Introductory prices and free trials are available once per person for each subscription group.

Pro includes all Pro filters, HD exports without a watermark, no ads, AI edits without a Slaycoin cost, and a Slaycoin allowance (Section 8). "Unlimited" AI edits are subject to a fair-use limit to prevent abuse and automated use; normal personal use will not reach it.

We may change subscription prices or benefits. We will tell you in advance, and a price increase applies only from your first renewal after the notice, in line with app store rules and applicable law.

8. Slaycoins policy

Slaycoins are an in-app virtual item used to pay for AI features. Every AI feature shows its fixed Slaycoin price before you use it (currently 1 Slaycoin per AI edit and 20 Slaycoins per AI preset; AI video, when available, will show its price the same way).

• Included Slaycoins come with Pro (currently 40 each week on Pro Weekly and 40 each month on Pro Yearly). They reset at the end of each period, do not roll over, and end when your subscription ends. The app always shows when they next reset.
• Purchased Slaycoins are bought in packs and do not expire for as long as the Service operates and your account is open.
• Included Slaycoins are always spent before purchased ones.
• Slaycoins are a limited license, not property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold, gifted or moved to another account, except where the law requires otherwise.
• You are charged only when a result is delivered. If a generation fails on our side, the Slaycoins return to your balance automatically, and you get one free re-roll on each AI preset.
• If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we remove the Slaycoins from that purchase; this can make your balance negative until you add more.
• We will not silently change the Slaycoin price of a feature. Any change is announced in the app before it takes effect, and your purchased balance keeps its full amount.

9. Rewarded ads

Free users may choose to watch a short ad to unlock an extra AI edit, up to 3 times per day. We may change this limit at any time without notice. The reward is given only after the ad network confirms you watched the ad, and ads may not always be available. Watching ads is always optional. Pro subscribers never see ads.

10. Free exports and watermarks

Free exports are 1080p and include a small SlayCam watermark. Pro exports are full resolution with no watermark. Previews of Pro filters are for viewing only, carry a preview watermark, and may be protected from screenshots.

11. Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies; request a refund from them. We cannot refund store purchases directly. This does not affect any refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.

12. Our rights

The Service, including the app, filters, presets, designs, trademarks and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the app store rules. Everything not expressly granted is reserved. "SlayCam" and our logos are our trademarks; do not use them without our written permission.

13. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

14. Copyright policy

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@linkova.net that includes: your contact details and signature; the work you believe is infringed; where the content appears in the Service; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner. We may remove content and end the accounts of repeat infringers.

15. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features, filters and presets. If we remove a paid feature you are currently paying for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

16. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or the Service. If we end your access without a valid reason under these Terms, we will refund unused purchased Slaycoins where the law requires. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers, liability and disputes) survive termination.

17. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the Service or any Result will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

19. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from third-party claims caused by your breach of these Terms or by Your Content.

20. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Before starting a formal claim, please contact us at contact@linkova.net so we can try to resolve it informally within 60 days. Disputes that are not resolved will be heard by the courts of Singapore. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live and keep the protection of your local consumer laws.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

22. Apple and Google

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store: Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the app's purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection, privacy and intellectual property claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also follow the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

If you downloaded the app from Google Play: where these Terms conflict with Google Play's terms, Google Play's terms apply to your use of the app.
